Just when you thought you'd seen the biggest dang backyard smoker from the Horizon Smoker Company in the 24" RD, Roger and the crew at Horizon decided to take it to the next step.  THE 30" RD SPECIAL is absolutely HUGE, there's no other way to describe this beast.  What a great size for a bbq business or catering company that has no need for a trailer unit or simply prefers the rugged look with the big wheels.

The Horizon 30" RD Special measures a Big 30" Diameter Pipe which is a lengthy 54" long in the main chamber, and a firebox that is 30" by 24".  This Barbecue Smoker is so big we had to throw on 24" double reinforced spoked steel wagon wheels, which although this big sonofagun  weighs around 1300 at our best guess.  The 2nd level shelf comes standard as well as the flame pattern on the door of the firebox.  Of course like all of the "RD" units, you get the warming tray on the firebox, the dual thermometers, counter weight balance on the main chamber door, a heavier duty charcoal grate in the firebox, and a installed sliding convection plate.   In the photos below, it shows 3 port holes for the thermometers as well as a stainless steel shelf.  Those items do not come standard, it was just how the lucky owner of this particular smoker ordered it.  You can certainly add as many extra thermometers to any size cooker, as well as a stainless steel front shelf.  The overall length of this unit is 92" in lenght and is about 68" tall at the top of the smokestack. Two Chrome Handles on the door!
