Horizon offers the backyard Ranger Smoker in both a 16" and 20" size.  This is basically a 16" Classic Smoker and a 20" Classic Smoker with the addition of the verticle smoker at the end.  The verticle chamber has one thermometer on that door, as well as 3 round cooking grates, which are removable as well as a hanging rod at the top of the chamber to where you can hang items from the top of the chamber. 

The 16" Ranger is the same as the 16" Classic Smoker with the additional length added to the firebox.  On a 16" Classic Smoker, the firebox measures 16" by 16", but with the 16" Ranger the firebox is 16" by 20".  The 16" Ranger weighs in at 570 lbs. has an overall length of 74" and a width of 32".  It has a height of 75" tall.  It offers around 1380 of total grilling surface in sq. inches.

The 20" Ranger weighs in at 725 lbs.  It has an overall length of 84" from end to end, with a width of 34".  It is 75" in height, and has 2137 total grill surface in square inches.  This unit is a beast. 

You would certainly want to order a drop in convection plate to either of these units to give you full use of of the main cooking chamber.  You could certainly add a counter weight balance and any additional thermometers anywhere you would want them.  The only downside to adding a counterweight balance is that you can not order a custom made cover from Horizon as you can with either unit without that extra feature.  Enjoy all of these photos I've taken of the Horizon Ranger.
